About this pave stone collar

The setting is the design here: small faceted stones are packed edge to edge across the band, so almost no base metal shows from the front and the collar reads as one continuous line of light. That density is also what makes it a more demanding piece to produce than a chain with spaced stones, because every stone has to sit level for the row to look even. Four colours run on the same setting, including a pink-white combination where two stone colours are alternated.

Two things are stated plainly on the spec line. The base is plated alloy, not stainless steel, so the plating — not the metal — sets the working life, and plating thickness is quoted rather than promised. And the stones are faceted stones: we do not describe them as crystal, CZ or diamond unless a buyer specifies a stone and we quote that specification. Sizes are the useful part of this design — S, M and L each carry a neck range in centimetres and the body-weight band the size was built around, so a shop can size a dog that will not stand still for a tape.

Questions about this pave stone collar

What are the stones?

Faceted decorative stones set edge to edge across the band. We do not describe them as crystal, CZ or diamond; if you need a named stone grade, tell us and it is quoted as its own line.

How do I pick a size?

Start from the neck: S is 20–25 cm, M is 25–30 cm, L is 30–35 cm. The weight bands on the spec line are the published guide for a shop sizing by body weight, and they line up with those neck ranges.

Is it stainless steel?

No. The band is plated alloy with stones set into it. Plating thickness is what decides how long the finish lasts, and it is quoted per run.

Does the clasp release?

No. The lobster clasp opens only when the trigger is pressed, so it does not release under load. Recommend supervised wear, and do not market it as a safety collar.
