About this imitation pearl bone collar

A rhinestone bone is mounted at the centre front and the bead strand runs out from it on both sides, so the motif reads as a pendant held inside the line rather than hanging below it. That keeps the collar close to the neck and stops the bone from swinging into the dog's chest, which is the usual failure point on pendant-style pet collars. The metal frame carries the motif, so the bead strand never has to take its weight.

Sizes are graded S, M and L by neck circumference, with a lobster clasp and a short extension chain at the back to cover the top of each band. Five colourways sit on the same motif: white and pale pink for a softer look, pink, blue and purple for stronger colour. Because the bone is set with rhinestones, the motif colour is fixed by the stone and frame rather than by the bead.

Questions about this imitation pearl bone collar

What is the bone motif made of?

A metal bone frame set with rhinestones, which are faceted glass or acrylic stones. It is a rhinestone, not a gemstone, and the beads are imitation pearl.

Will the bone hang down like a pendant?

No. It is mounted into the strand at the centre front, so it sits against the neck instead of swinging below the collar.

Is there a breakaway release?

No. The collar closes with a lobster clasp and a short extension chain, with no breakaway release. Fit it with correct slack and use it under normal supervision.

Do all five colours use the same bone?
