About this imitation pearl collar

This is a full strand: uniform round imitation pearl beads run from clasp to clasp with no centre motif, so the collar reads as one continuous line of bead. Because there is no focal piece, the bead diameter and the evenness of the spacing carry the whole look, and that is also where the cost sits — a larger bead and a tighter size sort both raise the price per collar. There is also nothing on it to catch on bedding or on a lead, which is the practical argument for this shape over a pendant collar.

Sizing is graded S, M and L by neck circumference rather than by fixed centimetre lengths, so each size is a band that suits a weight range of dog. The lobster clasp at the back is followed by a short extension chain, which lets one size cover the dogs at either end of its band. Six colours run on the same strand, which makes this the natural SKU for a colour wall or a pick-and-mix display.

Questions about this imitation pearl collar

Are the beads real?

The beads are imitation pearl: a manufactured bead with a pearlescent coating. Nothing on this collar is a natural gemstone.

What do S, M and L mean here?

They are neck circumference bands, not fixed lengths. Measure around the neck with two fingers of slack and pick the band the measurement falls into; the extension chain covers the top of the band.

Does the clasp release under load?

No. It is a lobster clasp with a short extension chain and no breakaway release. Fit it with correct slack and use it under normal supervision.

Can the bead size be changed?

Bead diameter is fixed per design. If you want a larger or smaller bead for a second SKU, raise it before the run and we will quote it as a separate design.
