CZ Stud Earring Range
Nine pairs of cubic zirconia studs in 18K gold PVD over 316L steel — clusters, fans, butterfly and drop shapes; quoted per design.
Stainless Steel Earrings · Stainless Steel · MOQ 50 pcs
Three polished half-arcs loop over and under each other to make a small open knot, and a single round stone sits in the gap at the centre. Solid gold-tone metal, one stone, nothing else.

Overview
The stud is built from three tubes, each bent into a half-arc and turned so they overlap: two run one way, the third crosses them, and the ends finish in rounded tips that sit just clear of the lobe. The gaps between the arcs are part of the design, so the piece reads as open metal rather than a solid block. Polished all round, including the insides of the curves, so it catches light from any angle.
A single round cubic zirconia is held in the space where the arcs cross, close to the face of the earring, so the stone is framed by the metal instead of sitting in front of it. One design, gold tone over 316L steel, on a post with a butterfly.

Materials
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| 316L stainless steel | The arcs and post are 316L, so the curves hold their shape and the surface does not tarnish. |
| Cubic zirconia | One lab-made clear stone at the centre; not a natural gemstone. |
| Gold tone | Gold colour over steel; the plating spec is quoted per order. |
316L
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
| Property | 316L stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Designation | 316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN |
| Composition | Chromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max |
| Why 316L and not 304 or 201 | Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any |
| Tarnish and rust | Does not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water |
| Skin | Hypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification |
| Specified for | Surgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from |
Best for
For buyers who want a metal-led stud with almost no stone.
The open arcs keep it light enough to wear daily.
Pairs with plain gold-tone chains and cuffs in the same finish.
