CZ Stud Earring Range
Nine pairs of cubic zirconia studs in 18K gold PVD over 316L steel — clusters, fans, butterfly and drop shapes; quoted per design.
Stainless Steel Earrings · Stainless Steel · MOQ 50 pcs
A stud that reads as a drawn line rather than a plate: two arcs of gold-tone metal, one inside the other, opening into a tall loop above the ear. Five stones are set along the curve, spaced unevenly so the piece looks scattered rather than counted.

Overview
The form is a narrow open loop: a heavier arc runs up one side and folds back down, and a second, lighter arc sits inside it, offset so the two never quite touch. That offset is what gives the earring its pleated look — the eye reads two edges where there is really one outline, and the gap between them lets light through, so the stud does not sit as a solid mass on the ear. The top of the loop is left open, which keeps the silhouette tall without adding weight.
Five cubic zirconia are set into the arcs at uneven intervals: round stones up the heavier arc, then a marquise, a small round and a pear-cut stone at the lowest point, so the eye travels down the loop and lands on a point. Each is set in a plain gold-tone bezel with no halo. The finish is gold tone over 316L stainless steel, and the post sits behind the upper arc, so the loop stands away from the ear rather than lying flat. One design, quoted per pair or per piece as you order.

Materials
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| 316L stainless steel | The arcs, bezels and post are 316L, so the earrings do not tarnish and the fine arcs keep their shape. |
| Cubic zirconia | All five stones are cubic zirconia, a lab-grown stone and not a natural one, in round, marquise and pear cuts. |
| Gold tone | Gold tone over steel, polished; plating is quoted per micron at quote stage rather than claimed as a wear period. |
316L
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
| Property | 316L stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Designation | 316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN |
| Composition | Chromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max |
| Why 316L and not 304 or 201 | Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any |
| Tarnish and rust | Does not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water |
| Skin | Hypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification |
| Specified for | Surgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from |
Best for
A tall open loop fills vertical space beside small studs and hoops.
The open form is light enough for daytime and reads as dressed at night.
Pairs with a plain huggie and a small stud for a three-hole look.
