About this single cz stud earring trio
The setting is the point of this range. Instead of a full rim, the metal holds the stone at the top and bottom only, leaving both sides of the girdle exposed, so light enters the stone from the edge as well as the face. That is what makes a single stone of this size read larger and brighter than a fully rimmed one. The frame is kept thin for the same reason: it holds the stone without drawing a line around it.
Three cuts run on the same setting: a marquise with a point at each end, a pear that tapers to a single point, and an oval. Each is a pair, and the three together make a small stud wardrobe — a long shape, a soft shape and a rounder one. This is a range, not one stud: each pair is quoted separately, and you can order one cut or all three.

The grade, in plain terms
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. How does a half-bezel hold the stone?
The metal folds over the stone at the top and bottom points, leaving both sides open. The stone is held by those two folds rather than by a full rim, so more of it is exposed to light.
Is one stone set per earring?
Yes. Each earring carries a single cubic zirconia. The trio is three pairs of studs, one pair in each cut.
Can I order just the pear shape?
Yes. This is a range of three cuts; order any one pair on its own or all three, and each pair is quoted as its own line.
Are the stones natural?
No. They are clear cubic zirconia, a lab-made stone. At this size a natural stone of the same cut would sit in a different price band entirely.
