Pear CZ Stud Earrings
Pear-cut CZ studs in 316L steel and gold tone, on a wide flat-backed setting — a shape we do not run on the round stud.
Stainless Steel Earrings · Stainless Steel · MOQ 50 pcs
A stud that reads from both sides: three pear-cut stones stand in a vertical line on the face of the ear, and a slim curved arm carries a fourth stone behind the lobe. The gold tone is carried on 316L stainless steel, so the piece is built for everyday wear rather than for a box.

Overview
The earring is one casting rather than a cluster of parts. Three pear-cut cubic zirconia sit in open three-prong settings, set tip to base so the line tapers down the ear, and each stone is joined to the next by a short gold-tone bridge rather than a chain link. The result is a rigid run of stones that holds its shape on the lobe, which matters because a soft drop would let a pear setting turn away from the light.
Behind the lobe the construction changes: a thin curved arm rises from the post and turns back on itself, holding a single pear-cut stone so that it faces outwards. That arm is what makes the pair read as a front-back piece — from the front you see the stone line, from the side you see a second stone sitting in the shadow behind the ear. The post and butterfly are plain steel, sized to the fitting you already buy, and the whole piece is finished in gold tone over 316L.
Specification
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Material | 316L stainless steel |
| Type | Front-back stud earring; one design per pair |
| Construction | Three pear-cut stones at the front; curved arm with a fourth stone behind the lobe |
| Stones | Cubic zirconia, pear cut, open three-prong settings |
| Finish | Gold tone (electroplated) over steel; steel tone quoted on request |
| Fitting | Steel post and butterfly; post gauge ordered to your specification |
Variants
Gold tone (electroplated) as shown; steel tone quoted on request, plating per micron.
The post is ordered to the fitting you already use rather than fixed, because lobe thickness varies by market.
Cubic zirconia as shown; other stone colours or a stone-free version quoted as their own line.
Materials
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| 316L stainless steel | The stone line, the curved arm, the post and the butterfly are all 316L, so the earring holds a polish and does not rust in wear. |
| Cubic zirconia | The stones are cubic zirconia, a lab-grown material rather than a natural gemstone; the pear cut is what gives the line its shape. |
| Gold tone | Electroplated gold over steel. Thickness is not fixed by the design, so it is agreed per order and quoted per micron. |
316L
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
| Property | 316L stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Designation | 316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN |
| Composition | Chromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max |
| Why 316L and not 304 or 201 | Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any |
| Tarnish and rust | Does not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water |
| Skin | Hypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification |
| Specified for | Surgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from |
Best for
The piece fills a stud position but carries the visual weight of a small drop.
The arm behind the lobe reads well in a second piercing without crowding the first.
Steel underneath means the pair can be worn daily rather than kept for occasions.
