About this multi-stone drop earrings
This is a range, not one earring: three colourways of the same linked drop, quoted per colourway. Each begins at the lobe with a single stone set on a stud post, then hangs down through small round stones, rectangles and ovals, every one held in a plain gold-tone bezel with a short link between it and the next. Because the stones are on separate joints rather than one rigid bar, the drop moves in steps and each piece of colour turns on its own. The red colourway runs burgundy, magenta and amber; the second keeps to clear and champagne tones; the third pairs a soft green with a deeper leaf green. In the white and green versions a polished metal nugget sits mid-drop, so the earring alternates metal and stone.
Posts, links and bezels are 316L stainless steel, the grade family also sold as SUS316L, so the earrings do not tarnish and are hypoallergenic for everyday wear. The stones are cubic zirconia, coloured through the body rather than coated, so the shade stays even from pair to pair and survives a reorder. The gold is 18K gold PVD, bonded in a vacuum chamber over the steel rather than electroplated on, with plating thickness quoted per micron.

The grade, in plain terms
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.

How many designs are in this earring?
