Glass Drop Pendant Necklaces
A single faceted glass stone in a fold-over 316L steel bezel, on a fine chain — four colours, in gold tone and steel tone.
Stainless Steel Earrings · Stainless Steel · MOQ 50 pcs
A ball-seated stud, then three stones in a row: a round, a horizontal bar and a round again, each held in an open gold-tone frame. The stones are glass, and the settings are open at the back, so the colour is lit from behind rather than blocked by metal. Two colourways, 316L stainless steel in a gold tone.

Overview
This is one earring in two colourways, not two constructions. Each hangs from a plain gold-tone ball that covers the stud, then steps down through three linked elements: a round stone, a horizontal bar stone and a round stone at the end. Every element is held in a frame that follows its outline — circular for the rounds, an elongated box for the bar — and each frame is open at the back, so there is no metal plate behind the colour.
The stones are glass, and the open backs are what make that read: with light behind them the colour goes deep and saturated instead of returning the hard white flash a faceted crystal gives. The faces are cut with broad flat facets, so the surface breaks light in wide planes rather than in fine sparkle. One colourway runs green through all three stones, finishing on a cooler teal at the drop; the other runs smoke, with a near-clear top, a grey bar and a black drop. Each colourway is quoted as its own line.

Materials
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| 316L stainless steel | The stud, ball seat and frames are 316L stainless steel, so the earring does not tarnish and the linked elements keep their alignment in wear. |
| Glass | The three stones are glass, cut with broad flat facets and set in frames that are open at the back, so light passes through the colour instead of bouncing off a metal plate. |
| Gold-tone frames | Each frame follows the outline of its stone and is polished, so the metal reads as a thin line around the colour rather than as a heavy mount. |
316L
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
| Property | 316L stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Designation | 316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN |
| Composition | Chromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max |
| Why 316L and not 304 or 201 | Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any |
| Tarnish and rust | Does not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water |
| Skin | Hypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification |
| Specified for | Surgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from |
Best for
Three stones in one line give a strong colour block at a small size.
Open-backed glass goes deep under low light, where a closed setting looks flat.
A green and a smoke option on one construction make a compact pair on a tray.
