This is an ankle chain, worn around the ankle rather than the wrist, and it is built on a fine gold-tone ball-and-bead chain. Around eleven flat round discs hang from the chain at intervals, each stamped with a fine radial sunburst, so the piece reads as a small repeating pattern of coins or discs. There is no stone anywhere on it — the look comes entirely from the engraved metal discs against the bead chain. It is a lightweight, warm-weather piece.
The metal is 316L stainless steel, a marine-grade alloy with molybdenum at roughly 2-3%, so the ankle chain does not tarnish and is hypoallergenic for daily wear; it is the same grade family sold as SUS316L. The finish is gold tone (electroplated) and the plating thickness is quoted per micron. It is supplied with an extension chain as standard, so one chain fits a range of ankles, and the length is set to the measurement you order rather than a fixed size.

The grade, in plain terms
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. Is this an anklet or a bracelet?

Are there any stones in it?
No. There are no stones in this piece; the pattern is made entirely by the engraved metal discs against the bead chain, so there is nothing set that can fall out.
