About this cz disc anklet

This is a single-strand ankle chain with a stone at the centre. A fine link chain runs the whole way round, interrupted by a round disc set with cubic zirconia, with small bezel-set cubic zirconia accents spaced along the rest of the run, so the sparkle is even rather than gathered in one spot. The stones are cubic zirconia, not a natural stone, so colour and size stay even across a run. It is one strand and one clasp, so it sits flat on the ankle.

The same fine chain is offered in the supplier's line with a few different cubic zirconia accents — the round disc shown here, a plain fish-mouth chain, and a four-leaf outline with CZ — so the family covers a plain line and a stone line. The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. Are the stones natural?

No. The disc and the small accents are cubic zirconia, not a natural stone, so colour and size stay even across a run and the price is predictable.

Is this an anklet or a bracelet?

It is an ankle chain, made to be worn at the ankle. The same fine chain can be run as a bracelet if you prefer, but this line is sized and quoted for the ankle.

Does the listing come in more than one design?
