Are the stones secure across the plate?
They are seated and held across the disc rather than pressed into a rough seat, which is where a set pendant either holds or fails. The setting is checked on the approved sample before the run continues, and because the plate is flat there is no raised edge for a stone to catch on and lift.
Will the gold tone wear off?
The steel underneath does not tarnish, so only the gold tone ages, and we state its thickness in microns on the quotation. A thin run is a seasonal piece and a thicker run an everyday one. If you want a piece with nothing to wear through, order the same design in the bare steel tone.
Does it suit a man or a woman?
Both — we build it as a unisex piece, and the shape is deliberately plain enough to sit in either assortment. If your market skews one way, tell us and we will adjust the chain width and the disc size to match, which is a drawing change rather than a new design.
