Sculpted Dome Ring Range
Nine gold-tone 316L steel designs in one range — sculpted dome bands alongside cubic zirconia set bands and open cuffs, each quoted separately.
Stainless Steel Brooches · Stainless Steel · MOQ 50 pcs
A brooch shaped as a soft, irregular oval, its face rippled like water or poured metal and cut right through by one round opening. The outline is not a true ellipse — it swells and dips — which is what stops the piece reading as a plain disc. Gold tone over 316L stainless steel, closed with a bar pin and a rotating safety catch.

Overview
This brooch starts as a disc and is worked until it is neither round nor flat. The outline swells and dips into a soft oval, the face carries a rippled, water-worn pattern that shifts as the light moves across it, and one round opening is cut clean through the body. From the back you can see that opening and the pin bar crossing the plate, so the construction is as straightforward as it looks: a single formed metal body with the polished relief doing all the work.
The metal is 316L stainless steel and the finish shown is gold tone (electroplated). A bar pin — a straight pin bar closed by a rotating safety catch — runs across the back plate, so it pins to a lapel, a coat, a scarf or a bag with no magnet and no separate back piece. Because it is a flat brooch with a broad polished face, it suits markets already selling sculptural gold-tone pieces rather than stone-set ones. Quoted per piece, with the plating confirmed at that stage.

Materials
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| 316L stainless steel | The body and the pin bar are 316L stainless steel, so the brooch does not tarnish in everyday wear. |
| Gold tone | Electroplated gold over 316L steel; plating thickness is quoted per micron rather than claimed as a fixed figure. |
| Formed relief | The ripples are formed in the metal itself rather than printed or plated on, so the pattern does not rub off the way a surface coating can. |
316L
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
| Property | 316L stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Designation | 316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN |
| Composition | Chromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max |
| Why 316L and not 304 or 201 | Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any |
| Tarnish and rust | Does not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water |
| Skin | Hypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification |
| Specified for | Surgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from |
Best for
A broad polished oval sits well on a coat lapel or a heavy blazer.
Use one to gather a scarf or a wrap, or pair two on a single panel.
Fits a market already buying smooth, sculpted gold-tone pieces.
