The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. How many designs are in this range?

Nine are shown: five plain sculpted dome bands and four cubic zirconia or open-cuff designs. Each is quoted as its own line, so you can take only the ones you sell.

Is the stone natural?

No. The set designs use cubic zirconia, not a natural stone, so the colour and size stay even across a run and the price is predictable from one order to the next.

Are the open designs adjustable?

The open cuffs and the link-pattern band are made with an open shank, so they take up more of a size range than a closed band. Tell us the sizes you sell and we will quote per size.

Can I mix gold and steel tone in one order?
