Petal Enamel Open Ring
An open 316L stainless steel petal ring with a pale blue accent and a gilded edge. The band adjusts to the finger, the colour is a cool contrast to a gold range, and the steel underneath never tarnishes.
Stainless Steel Brooches · Stainless Steel · MOQ 50 pcs
A line of brooches built around the hummingbird, colour-filled in enamel and outlined in polished steel. The colours range from a red-and-amber bird to a teal-and-blue one and a multi-colour bird whose wings shade from turquoise through green and violet into red; one design sets the bird among pink and white flowers. Each piece is a single brooch with a mechanical pin back.

Overview
This listing is a small family of enamel brooches built on the same bird. The colourways differ: one bird is worked in a tight patchwork of red and amber enamel cells, another in teal and blue, and a third runs from turquoise through green and violet into red across the wing. Alongside the single-bird designs there is one that sets the hummingbird among pink and white flowers with green leaves, so the piece also covers a floral display. On every design the steel outline is left bare and polished, which is what keeps the pattern legible from a few feet away.
The metal is 304 stainless steel — the grade our supplier specifies for this line, and we state it as it is rather than rounding it up to 316L. The back carries a mechanical pin fastener; on the style we photographed it is a pin post with a butterfly clutch, and a bar pin with a safety catch can be fitted instead if that suits your market better. Nothing in the line relies on a magnet. Brooches are quoted per piece, per design; if you need 316L for salt water or pool chlorine, tell us and we quote that grade separately.

Materials
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| 304 stainless steel | The body and the pin are 304 stainless steel, the grade specified for this line. We list it as 304 rather than calling it 316L, because the grade is a claim a buyer can check. |
| Enamel | The colour is enamel set into the formed steel, with the outlines left bare, so the pattern sits in the metal rather than on a printed surface. |
| Upgrade to 316L | Where a brooch will meet salt water or pool chlorine, we build the same design in 316L stainless steel and quote it as a separate line. |
316L
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
| Property | 316L stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Designation | 316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN |
| Composition | Chromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max |
| Why 316L and not 304 or 201 | Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any |
| Tarnish and rust | Does not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water |
| Skin | Hypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification |
| Specified for | Surgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from |
