About this heart stone necklaces

This is one listing with two separate pendant designs, so it is quoted per design rather than as a single piece. The first pendant is a round gold-tone disc whose face is cut with sunburst rays; a raised heart sits at the centre, packed with small clear stones, and single clear stones are set at intervals around the rim. It hangs from a twisted rope chain. The second pendant is a scalloped, roughly octagonal plate with a red heart-cut stone at its centre, ringed by a full halo of clear stones; it hangs from an oval-link chain.

Both pendants are made in 316L stainless steel, the low-carbon austenitic grade sold in the trade as SUS316L, and both carry an 18K gold PVD finish laid down by vacuum plating. The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.

Are both heart pendants in the same order?

Yes. This is one listing with two designs — the sunburst disc with the pave heart and the scalloped pendant with the red heart-cut stone. Each is quoted as its own line, so tell us which designs and how many of each.

What is the red stone in the scalloped pendant?

It is a coloured heart-cut stone, and its material was not specified to us, so we quote it as shown rather than claiming a species. The clear stones around it are cubic zirconia. If you need a natural stone at the centre, ask and we will price one separately.

Will the gold finish dull in everyday wear?
