About this heart-link chain necklace
This is a chain rather than a pendant, and the link carries the design. Instead of a uniform cable or curb link, each link is formed as a heart — some solid and chunky, some an open outline, and some with a starburst engraved into the face — so the run reads as a pattern rather than a plain chain. It is a metal link chain throughout, not strung stone or pearl beads, so there is no bead to crack or discolour.
It is a finishing chain for a market that already runs box, rope and snake chains and wants something with a motif. Wear one on its own as a statement, or layer two or three for a stacked neck. The supplier runs it in a family of heart link styles, so a chain wall can be built from one order; we quote per style and confirm which are in production now.

Is this a chain or a pendant necklace?
It is a chain. There is no pendant — the formed heart links are the design, so it is meant to be worn on its own or layered with another chain.
Are the hearts beads or stones?
Neither. Each link is a formed metal heart in 316L steel; there is no stone or pearl bead strung on the chain.
How is this different from your box, rope or snake chains?
