Detachable CZ Stud Earrings
A bezel-set CZ stud with a detachable drop piece, so one pair reads as a stud or as a drop — several designs, quoted per pair.
Stainless Steel Earrings · Stainless Steel · MOQ 50 pcs
This pair is built as two components rather than one casting. At the front, a square-cut stone sits in a four-point frame on a long post; behind the lobe, a fan of radiating ribs spreads outwards, pavé-set with small stones around two larger round ones. The halves come apart, so each can be handled, replaced or ordered on its own.

Overview
The front component is a single square-cut cubic zirconia held at four points by a shaped frame, mounted on the end of a post that runs through the lobe. The frame is deliberately small and faceted at the corners, so the square reads as a cut stone rather than a plate. The post itself is plain polished steel and carries a small hole near its base, which is where the second component is seated.
The back component is the piece that does the work in profile: a curved bar of radiating ribs that fans downward behind the lobe, each rib pavé-set with small round stones and two larger round stones set into the spread. Because the two parts separate, a pair can be ordered complete, or the front or back ordered as a replacement line — useful when a stockist sells the pair as a set but loses one half. Both components are 316L steel in a gold tone, with no base-metal core.

Materials
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| 316L stainless steel | Both components and the post are 316L, so the fan keeps its shape and the joint stays clean in wear. |
| Cubic zirconia | The stones are cubic zirconia, a lab-grown material, not a natural gemstone; the square cut at the front is the visual anchor. |
| Gold tone | Gold tone over steel. The design does not fix a plating thickness, so it is agreed per order and quoted per micron. |
316L
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
| Property | 316L stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Designation | 316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN |
| Composition | Chromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max |
| Why 316L and not 304 or 201 | Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any |
| Tarnish and rust | Does not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water |
| Skin | Hypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification |
| Specified for | Surgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from |
Best for
The fan spreads below the lobe, so the piece fills a stud position with the presence of a drop.
Because the halves detach, a display can show the pair closed and the parts apart.
Stockists can hold fronts and backs as separate lines instead of writing off a pair.
