About this dark cord stone necklace

This one is built around a plain cord. A thin dark cord runs the full length, and the colour is concentrated at the centre, where flat stone discs are stacked along the cord in several colours — a pale grey, a green, a speckled grey and an orange — held apart by gold-toned spacers. One spacer is set with small stones for a little sparkle. Because the discs are flat, they sit close to the neck and the piece lies flat rather than standing up.

It is not the same as our multi-colour bead necklace, which runs small round beads along the whole strand in one plain colour. Here the strand is a plain cord and the colour sits in a stacked centrepiece of flat discs, so the feel is more casual and more deliberate at once. The grade, in plain terms
