About this y lariat necklace
A Y-lariat is a chain that does not close into a loop: the strand comes down the neck, passes through a small bead, and continues into a long drop below it. The drop is what makes the piece read longer than a standard chain, and it is the reason the style is worn over a high neckline or a knit rather than tucked under a collar.
The run here is fine, and the drop carries several very fine strands lying side by side, so it stays light on the neck even at a longer drop and still catches light along its length. The round bead at the join is the one solid point in an otherwise very slim piece. It is made in 316L stainless steel in gold tone; tell us the finished length you sell and how deep you want the drop to hang, and we quote to it.

Questions about this y lariat necklace
Is this a closed necklace or an open lariat?
It is a fixed Y: the chain passes through the bead and finishes in an open drop rather than closing into a loop. It goes on over the head or fastens at the back depending on the length you order.
How long is the drop?
The drop is cut to the length you order, so it is not fixed here. Tell us how deep you want it to hang and we will quote the length.
Will the fine chain take a pendant as well?
It can carry a light pendant, but it is designed to be worn on its own — the drop is the design. If you want to pair it with a pendant, tell us the weight and we will confirm it suits.
Can I get both finishes?
Yes — steel tone and gold tone run on the same chain, so a two-finish order can ship together. Plating is quoted per micron; see the private label page for marking and packaging.
