The grade, in plain terms
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.

No. It is a necklace for people. Every piece is a pendant on a chain, sized and worn on the neck; the design is a dog, a cat, a paw print or a bone, not a collar or a tag for an animal.
What grade of steel is it, and is it hypoallergenic?
The chain and motifs are 316L stainless steel, the same grade family sold as SUS316L. It is hypoallergenic for most wearers and does not react with skin. It does contain nickel, around 10-14%, tightly bound in the alloy, so it stays low-sensitising for most wearers.
Are the clear stones cubic zirconia?
They are listed as clear stones, not as a named stone, and not as a natural stone. Tell us what your market requires and we confirm the size, colour and setting per design when we quote.
Do you supply a mill test report?
