About this pendant necklace range

This is a range built on one simple structure rather than a single necklace: a barrel bead is threaded directly onto the chain, so it is free to slide and the chain passes through the bead instead of hanging from a fixed loop. Because the bead is the only break in a plain strand, the necklace stays light and sits low on the collarbone, and the same bead reads differently depending on the chain it travels on. The family runs six treatments in all: a pave-set cubic zirconia barrel flanked by a polished spacer, an enamelled pink and white bead with a star, a polished engraved tag bead, a rose-pink barrel on a beaded ball chain, a wide cubic zirconia band and a pave bead with heart accents.

Each design is quoted on its own, so you take only the treatments your market buys and there is no need to order the whole tray. The chains change with the design too — fine cable, a beaded ball chain, a snake link and a paperclip link all appear, which is what keeps a display of one motif from looking repetitive. The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. Is this one necklace or a range?

It is a range. Each necklace is a single strand with one slide bead threaded onto the chain, and the listing runs six bead treatments; each is quoted as its own line. Ask us for the current list and we will confirm which are in production now.

What is the clear setting on the beads?

It is cubic zirconia, a man-made stone rather than a natural one, so colour and size stay even across a run and the cost is predictable.

Do the beads come in other colours?
