The look is a wide band paved right across with cubic zirconia, and it is made from four slim 316L steel bands rather than one casting. Each band carries a single row of one stone cut — round, heart, pear and a rectangular, baguette-style cut — and the four are worn stacked so the rows line up into a broad multi-row band. Worn one at a time, each band is a slim cubic zirconia stacking ring, so the same four pieces cover both a bold look and a fine one.

The grade, in plain terms
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design.
