Hammered pebble-disc bracelet

Flat discs, hammered and polished so every face throws a different highlight, linked edge to edge. It comes in two size grades: a bold mix of large irregular pebbles, and a tidier run of even medium discs.

Overview

About this hammered disc bracelet

This is a range of two size grades, not one bracelet. The large grade builds the chain from irregular pebble-shaped discs of clearly different sizes, set at random angles so the line looks gathered rather than engineered. The medium grade keeps the same hammered face but in even discs, so the rhythm along the wrist is regular. Both close with a lobster clasp and a short extender.

Each disc is a flat plate with a hammered top and a polished edge, and because each one is struck separately the surface never repeats exactly — that variation is the design, not a defect. There are no stones anywhere in the range, so nothing has to be matched for colour and the piece lives on the metal alone. The two grades are quoted separately, by the piece.

  • ✓Two size grades — mixed large pebbles or an even medium run
  • ✓Every disc is hammered by hand, so no two faces catch light the same way
  • ✓No stones, so there is nothing to colour-match across a reorder
  • ✓Flat discs sit close to the wrist and do not twist on the chain

316L stainless steelDiscs, connectors and clasp are 316L, so the bracelet does not tarnish with wear.
Hammered surfaceEach disc is struck and then polished on the edge; the texture is metal, not a coating.
Gold toneElectroplated gold over steel; we quote plating thickness rather than claim one here.

316L

The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.

How to tell 316L from 304 and 201 →

Property316L stainless steel
Designation316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN
CompositionChromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max
Why 316L and not 304 or 201Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any
Tarnish and rustDoes not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water
SkinHypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification
Specified forSurgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from

Best for

Where this piece earns its keep

Statement bracelets

Everyday gold

The medium grade sits under a sleeve and layers with finer chains.

Texture-led displays

FAQ

Questions about this hammered disc bracelet

What is the difference between the two versions?
Size grade. One is built from large irregular pebble discs in mixed sizes; the other uses even medium discs, so the line along the wrist is more regular. The hammered finish is the same on both.
Are the discs really different sizes, or is that the photo?
They are cut in mixed sizes on purpose in the large grade, and set at random angles. That irregularity is the design; the medium grade is the even version.
Is there any stone in it?
No. Both grades are all metal with no settings, so the piece is gold-tone steel from end to end.
Will the hammered face wear smooth?
The texture is struck into the metal, not added as a coating, so it does not polish away. The gold tone is a plated finish and its life depends on the thickness we quote for your order.
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a China-based B2B fashion jewellery supplier with our own design, sourcing and quality-control team, and we do not own a factory. The benches your order runs on belong to partner production lines in Guangdong that we work with directly and visit during your production. We publish no factory address, floor area, headcount or founding year, because those numbers describe a plant rather than the service you are buying. Ask any supplier this question, and check whether the answer matches the paperwork you get.
