About this disc & oval link necklaces

This is a listing of link necklaces rather than one piece, and there is no pendant: the design is the link itself. One style runs round flat discs joined by small oval connectors; another spaces flat geometric links — a triangle or a kite shape — along a fine cable; another uses flat oval plaques linked in the same way. Each is polished on both faces, so the flat metal catches light as the chain moves.

The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.

No. These are link necklaces; the design is the flat metal link itself, so they are meant to be worn on their own or layered.

Are the links stone or metal?
