Some designs are a full strand of small rounded turquoise-tone beads, broken at intervals by white and gold-tone accent beads so the spacing stays even; some are station chains, where a single bead sits every so often on a fine link chain, with the rest of the strand left open; and a few carry the colour as a charm — a marbled heart, a small five-petal flower, or a golden tag set with a heart.
Because the designs are so different in build, each one is quoted on its own, so a buyer can take a plain bead strand, a station chain and a charm design in the combination their market sells. The grade, in plain terms
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
