About this single stone drop necklaces

Each necklace carries one large faceted stone in a drop-shaped steel setting that follows the stone to a point at the bottom and tapers to the chain at the top, so the pendant reads as a solid drop rather than as a frame around a stone. One of the four colours adds a small clear stone on a jump ring above the drop, which gives that colour a two-stone look; the other three are a clean single stone. The four shown are a pink, a clear white, a light green and a light blue.

The stone is cubic zirconia rather than a natural gemstone, so the cut and the colour stay consistent from piece to piece and the price is predictable across a reorder. Because the stone fills most of the drop, the colour is what the buyer sees first, which makes the range a colour story rather than four separate designs. Each colour is quoted as its own line, so you can take one or all four, and the extra small stone on the green version is part of that design rather than an add-on.

The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. Questions about this single stone drop necklaces

Is the stone a natural gemstone?

No. The drop and the small accent stone are cubic zirconia, not a natural stone, so colour and cut stay even from piece to piece.

Why does one colour look different?

The light green version carries a small clear stone on a jump ring above the drop, so it reads as two stones. The pink, clear and light blue versions are a single stone; the accent is part of that design, not an add-on.

Can I order one colour only?

Yes. Each colour is quoted as its own line, so a single-colour run or a mixed four-colour order are both normal. Ask us which colours are in production now.

Can the chain length match my current range?
