About this detachable ring pendant necklace

This is a necklace whose centrepiece comes off. A fine gold-toned chain threads through a round gold-toned ring, and from that ring hangs a small cluster: a soft green oval stone, a longer green stone drop, a small dark bead and a gold leaf charm. Lift the ring off the chain and it is a ring to wear on the finger, with the cluster still swinging from it — so one order covers a necklace and a ring, and one display piece does two jobs.

It is not the same as our detachable ear studs, where the removable part is a stud and an interchangeable drop for the ear. Here the removable part is a ring that goes onto the hand, on a necklace rather than on an earring. Because the ring carries the charms, the cluster can also be swapped onto your own fine chain. We quote per design and confirm which colour mixes are in production now.

316L

The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.

Is the ring really wearable, or just decoration?

It is wearable. The ring lifts off the chain and goes onto the finger with the cluster still hanging from it. Tell us the ring size range you sell and we will confirm it against production.

How is this different from your detachable ear studs?

The detachable ear studs remove a stud and an ear drop; this is a necklace whose removable part is a ring that goes onto the hand. Same idea of a piece that comes apart, different piece entirely.

What are the green drops?

They are green stone drops, with the mineral not specified on the property sheet. If you need a named mineral or a particular shade, tell us and it is quoted separately.

Does it come with the chain?

Yes — this is a finished necklace and the chain is included. Length is ordered to your market. See the private label page for marking and packaging.
