Open Ring Range
A gold-tone 316L steel family of sculpted open rings — spirals, snake wraps, ribbon and wave bands and a bar — each adjustable at the back.
Stainless Steel Rings · Stainless Steel · MOQ 50 pcs
Four large stones gathered into one head: two ovals and two pears, set point to point so the cluster reads as a clover rather than a line. The shank is left open at the back, so the ring adjusts across a range of fingers instead of being cut to one. 316L stainless steel with an 18K gold PVD finish.

Overview
The head is the whole point of this ring: four stones of the same size, two cut oval and two cut pear, arranged point to point around a small centre so the outline closes into a four-lobed shape. Each stone is held in a fine claw setting rather than a closed bezel, which keeps the cluster light on the hand and lets light pass between the stones instead of stopping at a metal wall. The band meets the head low, so the ring sits flat on the finger and does not tip.
The shank is open at the back and adjusts, which solves the sizing problem a cluster ring usually carries: one head can cover a spread of finger sizes, so a stock run does not have to be broken into every size. The stones are cubic zirconia, not a natural stone, so colour and cut stay even across a run and there is no mineral to specify. The metal is 316L stainless steel, the grade also sold as SUS316L, so the ring does not tarnish and is hypoallergenic for daily wear; the gold is 18K gold PVD bonded in a vacuum chamber over the steel.

Materials
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| 316L stainless steel | The band and setting are 316L (SUS316L), so the ring does not tarnish and is hypoallergenic for daily wear. |
| Cubic zirconia | A laboratory stone, not a natural one — even in colour and cut, and specified by size rather than by mineral. |
| 18K gold PVD | Gold bonded in a vacuum chamber over the steel, so it wears harder than a bath plating; thickness quoted per micron. |
316L
Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.
Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. If your market needs documentation with the goods, tell us and we will confirm what is available on this design before you order.
| Property | 316L stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Designation | 316L (AISI/ASTM) · SUS316L under JIS · 1.4404 under EN |
| Composition | Chromium 16–18%, nickel 10–14%, molybdenum 2–3%, carbon 0.03% max |
| Why 316L and not 304 or 201 | Molybdenum is what resists chlorides, and neither of the cheaper grades contains any |
| Tarnish and rust | Does not tarnish, and does not rust from everyday wear, sweat or water |
| Skin | Hypoallergenic for most wearers, and not nickel-free — it contains 10–14% nickel by specification |
| Specified for | Surgical implants (ASTM F138) and marine fittings, which is where the “surgical” and “marine grade” labels come from |
Best for
A four-stone head reads from a distance without being a solitaire.
The clover outline suits occasion sets and gift packaging.
One adjustable shank covers a spread of sizes, so fewer SKUs to hold.
