This is one open ring rather than a closed band. The shank stops short, so the two ends face each other: a large white pearl is mounted on one end and a single round cubic zirconia sits on the other. The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. Is the pearl a real pearl?

No. It is an imitation pearl — a man-made pearl, not a natural saltwater or freshwater one. That keeps its colour and lustre even across a run.
