This listing is a set of about four pieces, not one. The lead piece is a Y-lariat necklace: a broad-oval racket pendant, head woven in a grid, drops into a short bead tassel. Alongside it sits a station necklace with small racket links spaced along the chain, a matching station bracelet on the same idea, and a ring that carries the racket across the band. Together they dress one look across the neck, the wrist and the hand.

The grade, in plain terms

Every design on this page is made in 316L stainless steel — the molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, and the same grade specified for surgical implants and marine fittings. The “L” is low carbon, which is what keeps chain links and hollow forms sound at the joins.

Grades are worth stating rather than implying, because 316L, 304 and 201 look identical in a photograph and differ by real money per tonne. We name the grade on every design. What exactly is in the set?

About four pieces: a Y-lariat racket necklace with a bead tassel, a racket station necklace, a racket station bracelet and a racket ring. You can take the full set or individual pieces, each quoted on its own line.

Is the racket a tennis racket?

Yes. The head is a broad oval with a woven grid and a short handle, and the same motif runs across the necklace, the bracelet and the ring.

Are the beads real pearls, and are the stones natural?

No on both counts. The tassel beads are pearl-finish beads, not natural or freshwater pearls, and the clear stones are set as clear stones rather than a named natural stone.

What grade of steel is it?

316L stainless steel, a marine-grade and surgical-grade alloy. It does not tarnish and is hypoallergenic, and it is largely non-magnetic, so a magnet is only a rough check. We name the grade rather than a vague 'surgical steel'.
