About this pavé stud earrings
A stud is the cheapest piece in the range to make and the hardest to make well, because everything that can go wrong does so at 4 mm. The stones need seats cut individually, the metal around each one has to stay thin enough to read as pavé and thick enough to hold, and the post has to be straight and on the centre line so the stud sits facing forward rather than tipping down.
The earring back is the other decision buyers often overlook. A butterfly back is the standard and the cheapest; a screw-back or a large disc holds a heavier stud more securely and is worth specifying once the stone field grows. We quote the back as its own line, because on an 8 mm pavé stud the fitting, not the metal, is what stops it going missing.

Questions about this pavé stud earrings
Why do the stones matter more on a small stud?
Because at 4–6 mm there is nothing else on the piece. On a large pendant a single dull stone is one detail; on a stud it is the whole earring. So we keep cubic zirconia as standard — it is consistent in cut and colour from lot to lot — and we match the stones to one supplier batch so the field does not show a colour drift across pairs.
Butterfly or screw-back?
Butterfly backs are standard, cheaper and fine up to about 6 mm. Above that the stud gets heavy enough that a butterfly can work loose during the day, so we recommend a screw-back or a larger disc for the 8 mm. It is quoted as its own line, and on a reorder it is the single most common upgrade buyers ask for.
Are they comfortable for sensitive ears?
The base is 925 silver and the standard finish is rhodium over the setting, which is a common choice for sensitive wear because the surface in contact is rhodium rather than a base metal.
