About this pavé solitaire pendant necklace
A solitaire pendant looks simple and is not. The stone has to sit level, the seat has to be deep enough that the girdle is protected, and the prongs or the pavé halo have to be low enough not to catch on knitwear. Get any of those wrong and the piece sells once.
The chain matters as much as the pendant: a heavy chain overwhelms a small stone and turns a delicate piece into a clunky one. We quote the pendant and the chain as separate lines, so you can specify the pairing you want rather than accepting a default. Our recommendation for a stone under 5 mm is the 2 mm rope chain on this site.

Questions about this pavé solitaire pendant necklace
Can I choose the stone?
Yes — size, shape and colour. Cubic zirconia is standard because it is consistent and predictable; glass and crystal cost less and look flatter in daylight; natural stones cost more and introduce colour matching and supply variability. Tell us the retail price you are aiming for and we will quote two or three stone specifications against it so you can see the trade-off in numbers.
Will it catch on clothing?
That depends almost entirely on the setting height, which is why we ask the question before quoting. A pavé halo sits highest and catches most; a four-prong setting lower; a flush setting almost never. If the piece is going to be worn under a scarf or against knitwear, specify the flush or a low four-prong and accept slightly less sparkle from the side.
Does the chain come with it?
It can, but we quote it separately so you are not paying for a chain you did not specify. Most buyers take this pendant with the 2 mm rope chain in a 45 cm length; if you are building a layered range, buy the pendant alone and pair it with two different widths.
