Overview
Texture is the cheapest way to give a ring presence, and it is where cast brass is at its best: the metal flows into fine detail, so a hammered or rope-twist face comes out of the mould crisp and does not need a stone to carry the design. The hammering is practical as well. A polished band shows every mark it collects; a hammered face scatters the light and hides them, which is exactly what you want on a ring sold as everyday wear.
The honest part of any brass ring is the plating. Freshly plated it is indistinguishable from gold at arm's length; the real question is how long that holds. Plating thickness is stated in microns line by line on the quotation, and a thin run and a thick run are different products: the thin one is a one-season piece, the thick one is an everyday piece. We quote it separately so you choose the lifespan rather than inherit whatever was run.

Sizing
A wide band feels tighter than a thin one at the same diameter, because more of the circumference sits against the finger. Order this design half a size up unless you specify a comfort-fit inside, and confirm every size against a gauge before the run.
