Overview
The signet is the easiest brass ring to make yours, because the face is a blank plate: send an initial, a monogram or a vector mark and the design work is scaling rather than a new drawing. Casting suits this better than forming does — the metal fills the mould and comes out with a clean, flat face and a defined shoulder, which is exactly the geometry a signet needs.
The two decisions that shape the price are the weight of the face and the finish. A slim signet and a heavy one are the same drawing and a different amount of metal, and because brass is heavy for its volume the heavier version genuinely reads as the more expensive ring in the hand. The finish — polished, brushed or oxidised for contrast — is quoted as its own line, so you can see what the look actually adds.

Variants
Fine detail and a clean edge; the usual choice for a monogram or a logo.

Sizing
Order in the sizing standard your customer already reads: US numeric, EU/ISO diameter in millimetres, or UK letters. The face plate sits on top of the band, so check that the face width you want does not overhang the finger at the small end of your size run.
