The heart is the one shape every charm and personalisation range needs, and it is cheapest to run as a solid steel blank. Because the piece is cast solid rather than hollow, it survives being handled, dropped and re-strung — which is exactly what a charm the customer buys loose and threads onto their own chain has to do.
The product here is the mark, not the metal. The face is polished flat enough to take a clean print or a laser engraving, and steel holds a sharper line than silver, so a small logo or a set of initials stays legible. Steel does not tarnish either, so the mark is never hidden under the dull film a silver charm collects.

Questions about this solid steel heart charm
Can you mark our own logo on the heart?
Yes. Send a vector file, a sketch or a photograph with dimensions and we mark an approved sample before the run continues, so you judge the line weight on the actual piece rather than on a screen. Marking coverage and depth decide the cost, so it is quoted as its own line rather than folded into the charm price.
Will the piece discolour or turn skin green?
No. 316L contains no copper to leach and resists sweat and salt water, so it does not tarnish, rust or leave a mark on skin. That is why we build a charm like this in steel: it hangs against the chest or the wrist all day, which is where a cheaper base metal shows its faults first.
Do you have a weight for it?
Not until the size is fixed, because the piece is cast to your drawing and the metal follows the size. Once the drawing is approved we confirm the unit weight against a physical sample, so the metal line in your quotation is something you can check rather than take on trust.
