About this disc and rope hoop earrings
The earring is a two-part construction: a gold-tone hoop twisted like a cable, with a single round stone disc threaded onto the ring so it hangs at the base. The rope-twist gives the metal a ridged, textured surface, and the flat stone disc gives it weight and contrast — a small disc reads almost like a bead, and it sits and moves on the hoop rather than being fixed to it.
This is not a solid ring: the disc is a separate stone that the hoop passes through. That is a different build from our resin donut hoops, where resin is wrapped around a metal inner ring to make one closed donut shape — here there is no resin and no wrapping; the metal stays a bare twisted hoop, and the stone is a disc it carries.
