A stacking ring is a merchandising decision before it is a design one. Because the band is thin, the piece costs little; because customers buy two or three at once, the average order value is well above a single ring. The design job is to make the whole stack look deliberate rather than accidental.
We build it at 1.5 mm with a flat or gently domed face, so several sit flush against each other without gaps. If you are selling them as a set, ask for the set pricing: at the same weight the cost difference is packaging and minimums, not metal, and we will show you the two numbers side by side.

Stacking rings are ordered in the same size as the finger they sit on, but if you sell them as a set of three, expect the customer to wear them on two different fingers. A spread of two sizes across the set covers more customers than three identical rings.

Questions about this slim stacking ring
Should I sell these singly or as a set?
Singly for the add-on, as a set for the gift. The set is worth doing because the packing does most of the selling: three rings in one box reads as a considered purchase, while the same three pieces loose read as three cheap items. Send us the pack you have in mind and we will quote the rings and the box as separate lines.
How thin can a silver band be before it bends?
Below about 1.2 mm a plain silver band starts to deform with normal hand use, so we keep the range at 1.2 mm and above. If you need something thinner for a price point, the honest answer is that 316L steel or a harder alloy holds the shape better — and we will quote it in steel so you can compare.
Do they tarnish?
Yes, plain polished silver reacts with sulphur in air and darkens over time. For a thin stackable band we normally recommend the rhodium flash, because the piece is sold on looking clean rather than on patina. The flash is quoted as its own line, and we can run the order half flashed and half raw if you want to test which sells better.
