No. Silver tarnishes because it reacts with sulphur in the air, which is the fault that sends a silver piece back to be polished. 316L does not tarnish or rust and contains no copper to leach, so this ring keeps its shine with no cloth and no re-finishing. That is the main reason to run a big bloom in steel rather than silver.
Is a large head comfortable to wear?
It is a statement shape, so it takes a little getting used to, and the head can catch on knitwear. We keep the band proportional to the head and can round the inside for comfort; most customers wear a ring this size on the index or middle finger, where the extra mass sits better than on a ring finger.
Can it be coated gold?
