Are the stones secure on the star?
They are seated and held across the star rather than pressed into a rough seat, which is where a set piece either holds or fails. The setting is checked on the approved sample before the run continues, and the raised star is drawn so there is no sharp edge for a stone to catch on and lift.
Will the gold tone wear off?
The steel underneath does not tarnish, so only the gold plate ages, and we state its thickness in microns on the quotation. A thin run is a seasonal piece and a thicker run an everyday one. Tell us how long you want it to look new and we will quote the plating to match rather than inherit whatever was run.
Does a bangle kink like a chain?
No — it is a solid band, so it holds its shape on the wrist and does not twist or kink the way a link chain can. The trade-off is that it cannot be resized after casting, so the diameter is worth getting right up front; tell us the wrist sizes you sell to and we will set the run.
