A rigid steel bangle on a concealed hinge, so it slips over the narrowest part of the wrist and then closes to an unbroken line. Engraving can be added inside the band where it never shows.

About this hinged bangle
A solid bangle looks better than a chain bracelet on the wrist, but it has to clear the hand to go on. The hinge solves that: the piece opens, passes over the narrow part of the wrist and closes flush, so the joined line is barely visible and the bangle reads as a single continuous ring.
The engineering is in the hinge and the clasp, not the profile. A cheap hinge works loose within weeks and the two ends stop meeting cleanly, which is exactly the flaw a customer notices. We specify the hinge fit and test the closure on the approved sample before the run continues.

Bangles are sized by inside diameter, not by wrist length, because the piece has to pass over the hand. A 58–60 mm inside diameter covers most adult wrists and is the usual stock size; smaller or larger hands need the diameter checked against a physical sample rather than guessed from a measurement.

Questions about this hinged bangle
Will the hinge loosen over time?
It can, and the fit is the whole difference between a bangle that lasts and one that does not. We specify the hinge clearance and test the closure on the approved sample: the ends should meet flush when closed and the piece should not rattle. If your market returns jewellery readily, it is worth approving the sample physically rather than from photos, because a good hinge and a cheap one look identical in a photograph.
How do I choose the right diameter?
By the hand, not the wrist. A bangle must pass over the widest part of the hand, so a wrist measurement alone will mislead you. A 58–60 mm inside diameter fits most adults and is our usual stock size. If your customers span a wide range, either carry two diameters or send us a physical hand measurement range and we will confirm the size on a gauge before casting.
Can it be engraved, and where?
Yes — on the inside face of the band, so the engraving is a private detail and the outer surface stays clean. Laser gives the sharpest edge for fine text; a hand-stamp gives a deeper impression but only suits simple letters. Because a bangle is a single piece of metal, the engraving is a separate pass and is quoted as its own line rather than folded into the band price.
