Overview
Chain is the piece where hollow links betray themselves. A hollow link looks right in a photograph and feels wrong the moment it is picked up; a solid cast link has the density the design implies, and because brass is heavier than steel for the same volume, a brass chain bracelet lands in the hand with a weight that supports a higher price. That is the whole argument for casting these links rather than pressing them.
The wrist is also the hardest place on the body for plated jewellery. It rubs on desks, on sleeves and against itself every time the clasp is opened, so a chain bracelet is the piece where plating thickness shows first. Sizing
A chain bracelet is sized by the wrist measurement plus enough room to move. Too tight and the clasp pulls under the wrist bone; too loose and a heavy chain swings. Give us the wrist measurement and we will set the length around it.
